If you’re ready to admit that we’re almost done with 2006 and that it might be OK to start making plans for 2007, check your calendar and think about coming to the 2007 North Carolina Science Blogging Conference, a “free, open and public event for scientists, educators, students, journalists, bloggers and anyone interested in discussing science communication, education and literacy on the Web.”
(more after the break)
The conference will be happening in Chapel Hill, and is mostly scheduled for Saturday, January 20, 2007. (There’s also a Friday night dinner planned, and a Thursday aftenoon skills session for those who want to blog but haven’t given it a go yet.)
You don’t have to be from North Carolina to come, nor do you have to be a scientist or a blogger. It’s free to attend.
I’ll be at the conference. And, I’m one of the scheduled speakers on the program.
It would be grand to meet some of you there!
It will be fun to finally meet some of these people I’ve been internetting about with….
For me, it’s just within driving distance (10 hours), and next semester I have no Friday classes, so it all works out.

I’ll be there. I’m looking forward to meeting every one.
